BEDROCK  PATCH

DESCRIPTION:

Bedrock Patch is a two component, equal volume mix with thoroughly dispersed fillers and aggregate pre-blended into the system.  It is a 100% solids epoxy product that contains no solvents or water.  Bedrock Patch is a high viscosity, non-sag epoxy paste.

 

USE:

Bedrock Patch was designed for general repair and maintenance of concrete, masonry and properly secured plywood.  It is ideal for filling cracks, voids and other defects in concrete, brick or block structures.  The bond strength far exceeds that of concrete.  Bedrock Patch provides total waterproofing.  It can be used as a sealer around the periphery of below grade areas at the junctures of walls and floors.  Bedrock Patch has excellent adhesion and is non-shrinking, which assures permanent repairs of small holes, depressions and spalled areas.

LIMITATIONS:

 Do not use when surface temperatures are below 42 degrees F.

Exposure to temperatures exceeding 150 degrees for long periods of time is not recommended.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:

Resistant to mild acids, alkalies, detergents, solvents, skydrol, hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, deicing salts, etc.

 

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Surface must be clean, sound and dry.  Dirt, dust, rust, oils, old coatings and other contaminants should be removed before applying Bedrock Patch.  The best methods for preparing the surface are shotblasting, mechanically grinding, or acid etching.

 

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Blend equal volumes of base with reactor.

2. Mix thoroughly with a slow speed drill equipped with a mixing paddle.  Be sure to mix sides and bottoms of container

3. Bedrock Patch should be a uniform streak-free color when mixed properly.
