The Safety Grip  treatment creates an invisible tread design into your surface, reversing the coefficient of friction. Greater pressure reduces the chances of slipping where before it increased it. All mineral surfaces have both hard and soft portions. Safety Grip melts away the soft portions leaving only the hard portions exposed. The floor will no longer be slippery when wet.

The Coefficient of Friction is dramatically reduced when an untreated flat hard Mineral surface is subjected to a wetting agent.  A walkway treated with Safety Grip" is actually safer in a wet condition than a dry untreated surface. A static AntiSlip Coefficient of Friction of .50 or above is considered a safe walkway surface with a dry condition. A reading below .50 is considered an unsafe walkway surface.
